HP ENVY Photo 7155
Microsoft Windows Vista

After receiving the initial message "HP does not support this operating system..." I still persisted and used my mobile phone as HP suggests to locate a link on its 123HP website to an alternative way to download correct driver and software, clicking on he link on the email seems to work, saying now downloading, but do not get any confirmation that it is installed or any error message, and the printer won't print. When I turned on my computer today it says the same thing, need to download drivers/software for the new printer, help, anyone?

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Which version of Windows Vista do you have? 64-bit or 32-bit?

If it's 32-bit, then you may download the full software from here: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-envy-photo-7100-all-in-one-printer-series/907311...

For the 64-bit, there are no drivers available and you may use the Windows built-in drivers: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c01796879

The Windows built-in software does not have the scanning software and most of the new scanning software is not compatible with Vista and hence you will have to use: Microsoft Paint (All Windows versions): Search Windows for paint, and then open the Paint desktop app. Click File or the menu icon  , and then click From scanner or camera.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution and Kudos buttons, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks!

Have a great day!
