HP OfficeJet Pro 8035e All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have always been a fan of HP printers but I my opinion is fast changing.   Recently, my trusty HP Officejet Pro 8600 (N911) failed because of a printhead problem.  I looked at replacing the print head but the cost was about $175 and I decided to buy the HP Officejet Pro 8030e.  Understand before retiring I worked in computers and computer networking for 36 years.

My first problem is the HP Smart app for Windows and the hpsmart.com webased application.   Why is it so difficult to delete a printer?  They give you a stupid option to "hide" the printer but not to delete it.  On my wife's computer, the HP Smart app is showing a printer that was long ago deleted.  For me, the broken 8600 printer shows in the web hpsmart.com and again, there is no way to delete it because is not connected to webservices.   I could remove my new printer but the old printer has no way to get rid of it.

By the way, the paper tray on this new printer is a piece of junk.

By the way, scanning is also a problem but that's a whole other story.
