Try these steps:

Install Printer Software and Drivers

You need to install the correct printer software and drivers to ensure proper functionality.

  • Visit the HP Smart - Microsoft Store to download and install the HP Smart app on your computer.
  • Open the HP Smart app.
  • If a Welcome to HP Smart screen is displayed, click Accept All.
  • Click Set Up a New Printer or Add Printer.

Adding a Printer with HP Smart HP Smart Printer Setup

  • Follow the on-screen prompts to set up your printer.

Connect Your Printer to the Network

  1. On the printer control panel, touch Wi-Fi icon.
  2. Navigate to Wi-Fi Setup and select your network name.
  3. Enter the network password if prompted.

Add the Printer to Your Computer's Devices and Printers

  • Ensure your printer and computer are on the same network.
  • In Windows, search for and open Printers & scanners.
  • Click Add device and wait for Windows to locate available printers.
  • Select your printer model name from the list.

For USB Printer:

  • Connect the printer to your computer using a USB cable.
  • In Windows, search for and open Printers & scanners.
  • If your printer is listed, the print driver is installed, and you are ready to print.

Print a Test Page

  1. In the HP Smart app, go to Print Documents or Print Photos.
  2. Select your printer from the list.
  3. Open a document and click Print.

By following these steps, you should be able to successfully add the HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 printer to your computer and start using it.
