Product: HP Pavilion Wave Desktop - 600-a035na

My new Klarstein Film & photo scanner TG-109B fails to install on my Windows 10 HP Wave desktop.  The installation software is aimed at Windows 7 etc., so rather old, but very similar devices are still being sold.  Klarnstein website is not helpful or reactive in a timely response, so is anyone out there able to point me to a resolution to get the film scanner installed and working?  Perhaps there is an app to resolve this?  HP are only interested in their own hardware, so not helpful either.
