My Printer is an HP Deskjet 2852e, I finally got it to hook up to wifi but I am unable to print from Word/Excel or Notepad. The templates print but their blank Templates, everything I add is showing in the print preview but not printing. I went into setting and Checked the Hidden Text to make sure that was not on there. I updated my Microsoft 365 to make sure there wasnt a corrupted file but Even Notepad prints blank pages.

Hi @Aanonn

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I understand that you're experiencing issues with printing from specific applications like Microsoft Word and Excel on your HP DeskJet 2852e. Here are some steps you can try to resolve this issue:

Check Printer Preferences

  • Open your Word or Excel document.
  • Go to File > Print → select HP DeskJet 2852e.
  • Click Printer Properties/Preferences.
  • Ensure Draft mode or other restrictive settings are not enabled.
  • Confirm paper size and orientation match your document.

Verify Word/Excel Options

  • In Word/Excel, go to File > Options > Advanced.
  • Scroll to Print section.
  • Make sure High‑fidelity printing is not selected (can cause blank output).

Update Printer Driver

  • Visit the HP Support site. https://support.hp.com/au-en/products
  • Search for HP DeskJet 2852e drivers.
  • Download and install the latest driver/software package.
  • Restart your computer after installation

Restart Printer

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Unplug from power for 2–3 minutes.
  • Plug back in and power on.
  • Retry printing.

Hope this helps, Please revert if the issue persists.

Take care and have an amazing day!

I'm an HP Employee.
