Deskjet 2655
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

After getting rid of the Direct Wifi Network for my printer which was in conflict with my internet network provider, I reinstal the printer with 123.hp.com, following the instructions. The printer works very well in Wifi, printing all kinds of documents (word, excel, pdf, etc.), messages from Courrier, and even web pages from Chrome and from Internet Explorer. But, it does not work on Edge. The error message from Edge is that my printer encounter unexpected configuration problem (code : 0x80070005). I don't understand that because when i switch from Edge to Internet Explorer on the same web page, the printer works perfectly. It was working very well with Edge before i install the Direct Wifi Network and get rid of this network because of conflict with my internet network provider. My computer is a HP Envy TouchSmart. My printer a HP Deskjet 2655 and my operating system is Windows 10 - 64 bit. Is someone can help me on that? I would like to print Edge web pages with my printer.

Thanks in advance

Welcome to HP support community.

Reset Microsoft Edge Through Its Settings

  • Open the “Settings” menu by clicking the three horizontal dots in the upper right corner of the Edge window and choose “Settings.”
  • Under Clear browsing data, click “Choose what to clear” and then click “Show more.” There are a lot of data types here. Select them all and click “Clear.” Restart your PC and re-open Edge for a clean slate.

Let me know if that helps.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.
