Microsoft Windows 11

I upgraded my laptop and then realized my printer is not supported by Windows 11. When I print, I get a printout that's a quarter of the size of what I'm printing, along with lots of bars that look like a bar code made out of thin slices of what I'm printing. I guess that's something. I have too much ink already purchased to ditch my printer.

I can print some files from my phone if I email myself. Are there any other workarounds you know of?

I checked the printer driver updates on my Windows 11 computer and it shows the printer as supported by a Microsoft driver

You may need to update your driver to ensure the correct one is installed. disconnect the printer and delete it from your computer and then reconnect and let it install and it should install the right driver.

Thank you!

My screen looked like this where I found to take off the printer and added it back as you suggested:

I wonder why it wasn't on the list of LaserJet printers? https://support.hp.com/ca-en/document/ish_4839960-4840167-16

But, I'm happy to report that your solution worked for me! I just printed like always. Thank you for your help. 🙂

Is giving kudos the same as marking "yes" to "Is this reply helpful?"?
I don't see a post that's clear because I don't see a star or something called kudos and the post I found just says 'button'. Plus, this "Let someone know their reply is helpful" didn't get a green, filled-in button after I already marked your post as helpful.
