HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus e-All-in-One Printer - N911g

My printer indicated that I needed a new print head. I bought one and installed it. Now my computer is saying that there is a computer failure and that there is a problem with the print or ink system.

Try This

1. open access door

2. wait for cartridges to stop moving

3. remove ink cartridges and inspect for ink that may be leaking out

4. repeat the steps for the others

5. resetting the printer

6. with the printer turned on remove the power cord or disconnect from the wall outlet

7. then wait 60 seconds

8. reconnect the power chord to the printer

9. check the printhead cartridge and latch

10. resetting the printhead

11. open ink door cartridge

12. wait for them to stop moving

13. lift latch and gently move the printhead lower the printhead into the cartridge then wiggle print head left to right. then put

printhead into place.

14. close the ink cartridge door

15. some of the time the message will continue after inserting the printhead again.

16. repeat the printhead twice more making it a total of 3 times.

Reminder that you should disconnect  before the first time you disconnect the printhead and then turn it back on after you do that first step

I hope this helps sorry for the long instructions.
