@MONIKAKOW, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding How to Connect HP DeskJet 2721e All-in-One Printer to a New WiFi Network!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your HP DeskJet 2721e printer is offline because of a change in your internet provider, you need to reconnect it to the new WiFi network. Follow these steps to obtain a new PIN code and connect your printer:

Step 1: Reset Network Settings

  1. Turn on the printer.
  2. Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer's control panel until the wireless light starts blinking. This indicates that the printer is in WiFi setup mode.

Step 2: Use HP Smart App for WiFi Connection

  1. Download and install the HP Smart app from the Microsoft Store if you don’t have it already.
  2. Open the HP Smart app and select your printer from the list (ensure your device is connected to the same WiFi network).
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to reconfigure your printer's WiFi settings.

Step 3: Obtain New PIN Code

  1. If prompted for a PIN code during the setup, you can find the PIN code on the printer’s info sheet or a label on the printer. If your PIN code is not working, resetting the WiFi as described in Step 1 will generate a new PIN.

Step 4: Add Printer to Device

  1. Once the printer is connected to the WiFi network, go to the Devices and Printers section in the Control Panel.
  2. Click on Add a printer and select your HP DeskJet 2721e from the available devices.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!

Hello

Thank you for your response.

Unfortunately it doesn(t work, I can not add the printer because it appears offline, and I sill didn't generate the new pin.

@MONIKAKOW, thank you for the update — I know how frustrating it can feel when things just refuse to reconnect, especially after changing your internet provider.

Let’s try this:

🌐 Reset the Network (for a fresh start)

Turn on your printer.

Press and hold the Wireless and Cancel (X) buttons together for about 5 seconds until the Power light blinks — this resets the network settings.

📲 Use HP Smart App (to reconnect and get a new PIN)

Open the HP Smart app on your PC or phone (make sure you’re on the new WiFi).

Click “Set up a new printer.”

The app will search and detect your printer in WiFi setup mode.

Follow the steps — when prompted, a fresh PIN will appear on the printer’s control panel or info sheet.

You’ll know it’s working when the wireless light becomes steady — like a calm blue light that says, “I’m home.”

Let me know how it goes — we’re almost there! 🌟

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
