Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your HP OfficeJet 8015e printer is stuck on a message saying "Get HP software," it typically means the printer is unable to communicate properly with your computer. Here are some steps to resolve this issue:

1. Restart the Printer

  • Turn off the printer: Press the power button and wait until it powers down.
  • Unplug the printer: Disconnect it from the power source.
  • Wait for a minute: Give it some time before plugging it back in.
  • Turn on the printer: Power it up again and see if the message still appears.

2. Restart Your Computer

  • Restart: Sometimes a simple restart can solve connectivity issues.

3. Reinstall the HP Software

  • Remove existing software: Uninstall any existing HP printer software from your computer.
  • Download Software: Visit the HP Support page and download the latest version of the software and driver for your printer.
  • Install Software: Follow the on-screen instructions to install the software.

4. Check Network Connections

  • Verify connection: Ensure the printer is connected to the same network as your computer. You can check the connection settings on the printer's control panel.
  • Reconnect: If using Wi-Fi, try reconnecting the printer to your network.

5. Update Firmware

  • Access updates: Make sure your printer’s firmware is up to date. You can check for firmware updates through the HP software or on the HP Support page.

6. HP Print and Scan Doctor

By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the issue and continue using your HP OfficeJet 8015e printer.
