  • Verify that all cables are securely connected and in good condition.

Restart Printer and PC:

  • Power off your printer and PC. Wait for a few minutes before turning them back on.

Update Printer Drivers:

  • Use HP Support Assistant to check for and install any available updates for your printer drivers (You can download HP Support Assistant here).
  • Alternatively, you can update printer drivers via Windows Update:
    1. Search for and open Device Manager.
    2. Expand Printers.
    3. Right-click your printer and select Update driver.
    4. Follow the prompts to update drivers.

Reinstall Printer Software:

  • Uninstall and then reinstall the printer software to ensure you have the latest version. You can find and download the appropriate printer software from HP Support.

Check Windows Update:

  • Ensure your Windows 11 operating system is fully updated:
    1. In Windows, search for and open Check for updates.
    2. Install any available updates and restart your PC.
