My printer makes me save everything and go to pdf before I can print, and I can't find the pdf to

My printer was working and now it makes me save to a pdf file before I can print, why would that happen and what can I do to , yesterday someone from HP messed it up, and I can't figure how to print it out from the document.

The printer cares not what you send but must be able to translate the content.
