My printer prints even pages first and then odd pages when the command is for printing on both side

When I give the command to print on both sides of the paper (duplex printing), printer first prints even pages and then odd pages. This does not give a document in the proper page order. Why does this happen, and what is the solution. I have HP Ink Tank Wireless 419 printer. Please help

That is how manual duplex works. You print even pages first when those are printer you need to load those sheets in a printer to print odd pages and you get a manual duplex printed pages.

This was not how my printer used to work earlier. I got the pages in the right order simply by feeding the pages one after the other.
