Brand new printer - worked fine at first now will now power on

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you. 

Sounds like your brand-new OfficeJet Pro 8135e decided to take an impromptu power nap—and forgot to wake up! No worries, though. Let’s give it a friendly nudge back to life.

Confirm Power Outlet Works

  • Plug the printer into a different wall outlet (avoid surge protectors or power strips).
  • Try plugging another device into the same outlet to check if it's working.

Check the Power Cable & Adapter

  • Ensure the power cable is securely connected to the printer.
  • If possible, use a compatible HP power cable from another HP printer.

Perform a Power Reset

  • Unplug the power cable from the printer and the wall outlet.
  • Wait 60 seconds to discharge any residual power.
  • Reconnect the power cable directly to the wall outlet and the printer.
  • Press the Power button and check if the printer turns on.
