I can't print anything from my printer, although I can copy documents. Virtual assistant was no help and my warranty is expired, so evidently I can't get live Chat or phone assistance.

It sounds like your printer is experiencing a frustrating issue where it can copy but won't print. Here are some steps to troubleshoot:

 

1. Restart the Printer and Router

  • Unplug your printer and router.
  • Wait 30 seconds, then plug them back in.
  • Try printing again.

2. Check Connection Settings

  • Ensure your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer.
  • If using a USB connection, try a different port or cable.

3. Check Ink Levels and Printhead

  • Even if the printer says ink is full, clogged printheads can cause blank pages.
  • Run a printhead cleaning cycle from the printer’s settings.

4. Update Printer Drivers

  • Visit HP’s support page for your printer model here and download the latest drivers.

5. Reset the Printer

  • If nothing works, try a factory reset from the printer’s settings menu.
