HP Recommended

I brought a hp Envy 6120e all in one from Amazon. It said used but came in all the original packaging, cartridges still in sealed packets etc. I've gone to set it up and put in the setup cartridges and have this error "hp setup cartridge cannot be used after the printer has been initialized" can there cartridges not been used at all??

HP Recommended

You do not need the setup cartridges.  You may want to hold on to them in case the printer is factory reset and then asks for the setup cartridges.  There is not much ink in them but if you want to use them you will need to force a hard reset.
