my lovely ex put a password on the printer before she moved out and the only info i could find to factory reset is by turning it on then holding down the u-turn button & the home button and also some unmarked spot on the screen on the right of the "?" mark. 

I've tried this MANY MANY times with no results, if someone knows what i am doing wrong or if there is something else that is the proper way to reset this printer it would be a life saver. i have a deadline and might have to go buy a new printer if i can not get help from someone.

HP Recommended

Turn the printer ON when the HP logo appears on the screen press and hold the lower right corner on the touchscreen. Keep pressing until you get a Permanent storage message on the screen.
