I have followed the instructions on the community chat (by KrazyToad 02-21-20)

Thank you, but I'm still not able to delete the printer!

The issue I have is the printer does not appear in the list of printers, so I cannot select to delete

It appears when I select print (from e.g. Word) it shows as offline with 2 docs waiting to print, however I cannot find where it is located 😞 to enable deletion

Any other ideas gratefully received

just for info have finally managed to go into the registry to remove printer

remove the offending printer’s keys and subkeys via Registry Editor:

  1. Press Windows key + R to open up a Run box. Then, type “Regedit” and hit Enter to open Registry Editor.

    Open Regedit
  2. Inside Registry Editor, navigate to the following location using the left pane:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SYSTEM > CurrentControlSet > Control > Print > Printers
  3. In the Printers key, locate the entry associated with your the printer that you want to remove, right-click and choose Delete.
