Version  10.13.4 High Sierra

So far as I can tell there simply isn't a compatable driver

I went through the (HP support) rigamarole 3 times and each time recieved the message that there was no driver available (then was told, of all things, to "select another product"!)

It seems straight forward enough, I need a 2.3.2 driver for MAC, either one is available or it is not, but I never seem to get quite a straight answer.

Do I need to just pack it in or not?

Hi,

the driver is available via Apple Software Update.

 

As you experience issues installing the printer manually download and install below drivers package from Apple:

https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1888?locale=en_US

 

That includes the latest print and scan drivers, version 2.3.2, as listed below:

https://support.apple.com/en-il/HT201465

Thank you, I just can't imagine why the HP site made it seem like a non-starter, I had every bit of the needed info.
