I am in desperate need for the green and white J4580 installation CD for Windows 7 - please help.

You can download the full driver from hp.com and run the .exe or burn yourself a CD and run exe from CD

Thank you but now I have a real problem. I'm using a laptop but I can't download the address you gave because it is forbidden by HP "on this server". Is there any way possible you or someone could load it to a CD for me and I will gladly pay for it and all costs, e.g., disk, mailing, time and effort et al.. I ask this because I am partially handicapped here in Las Vegas. Thank you.

Please disregard my "distressed" note needing a J4580 startup disk. I received assistance and am all set. Thanks to all who read my message and a special thanks to the HP tech for his in-depth and kind response. I learned a lot from him!
