Why is HP  not showing drivers for Mac's new Monterey OS? I need a driver for my Laserjet P1109w printer.

Hi @Ann107B,

 

I'd like to help!

 

HP LaserJet Pro P1109w Printer Driver for macOS 12 is not available from the HP website or Apple Software Update. However, Gutenprint (formerly called Gimp-Print) provides open-source basic print drivers for many printers that would otherwise not be supported in Mac OS X. To see if your printer is supported, go to Gutenprint drivers for more information.

 

NOTE: Gutenprint drivers are not supported by HP or Apple.

Thanks for your reply. I had already tried Gutenprint. They don't have anything that will support my LaserJet Pro 1109 printer in Monterey.
