Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Need Full Installation Software for Laserjet Pro 4001ne, HPSMART not an option. Printer shows USB support online, but comes with a sticker covering the USB port showing plug crossed out.  Makes no sense to install a USB port and not be able to use it.

I had this same problem and figured out the solution is to return this printer and get a different model. The model that you and I have is the 4001ne. This model requires and Internet connection. Look this model up on Amazon and scroll through the pics. You will see an orange colored window where it states that it requires an Internet connection. This same info may be on HP's website somewhere as well.

 

I am going to order the 4001n and I think that will solve my issue because I can't find anywhere that it requires an Internet connection.
