There are other Posts regarding this issue and a solution was provided by FerRX. I opened the link that he provided and it is no longer available. Are there any other resolutions available?

Thank you for providing me execute file. During the installation process it halts at 50% and I get the following error message:

 

Program Compatibility Assistant

 

This app can't run on this device

Bing Bar

Microsoft

 

This app can't run because it causes security or performance issues on Windows. A new version may be available. Check with your software provider for an updated version that runs on this version of Windows.

I turned off the Windows Protected Mode, ran the executable file again, and now I am able to use my printer.
