Operating System: Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

Hi 

Moved to a place that has hotel like wireless. In order to setup my new printer I need the MAC address but am unable to find it. Does someone know how to establish what MAC address the printer has (not on the serial number sticker).

A warm welcome to HP forums! This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips to your technical queries.

Printer Mac address is available on the Configuration Report. You may use the steps available here to print a Configuration Report. On the Configuration Report, look for Hardware Address below Wireless Network Configuration. Hardware address is the printer's Mac address.
