Hi. I use an HP 3035 OfficeJet with Windows 11 Professional.

I can print my documents, no problem. But I'm having trouble when clicking the HP Printer icon.

Sometimes it works, giving me access to scanning, checking cartridge levels, etc. But sometimes it reads, "192.168.0.109 refused to connect."

When I can access it, several of the options are locked unless I unlock them through Administrator. Once I close the software & reengage, the default locks reappear, meaning I basically need to provide my printer PIN every single time I want to scan something.

Very frustrating.

Any ideas on how I can change or fix this?

Thanks.

JD

Hi @udonjoe

Please install the next driver for your Officejet printer:

After install look for HP Scan icon and use to scan a document to check if that works ok.
