HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 4535
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello,

I have an HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 4535. Originally, it used HP 652 cartridges while I was living in Kuwait. After moving to Bangladesh, I contacted HP support and received a regionalization/reset code so that I could use HP 680 cartridges available here.

However, my printer is now not recognizing either cartridge. Neither HP 652 nor HP 680 cartridges are being supported by the printer. I suspect the printer may need another regionalization reset.

Could someone please help me resolve this issue or advise whether the printer needs to be reset/re-regionalized again?

Thank you.

Hi @Shafi6196

Welcome to HP Support Community!

I noticed that the regional reset was performed, However it still shows the cartidge is not recognized. I would reqeust you to please share me the picture of the error to assist you furhter.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

To perform a printer region reset you need to meet the following conditions:

1. You need to have the printer full feature software installed on your computer.

2. You need to have all the cartridges either from the region/country from where the printer was purchased originally or the new region/country to which you want to reset it to.

3. Make sure HP  App is installed too.

Take care and have an amazing day ahead! 🚀

Hi @Pallipurath,

I need help with a regionalization / region reset for my HP OfficeJet Pro 8715.

The printer is currently set to the US cartridge region and works with HP 952 cartridges, but I am now in Poland / Europe and need to use HP 953 cartridges.

Printer model: HP OfficeJet Pro 8715
Current cartridge region: US / HP 952
New cartridge region: Europe / Poland / HP 953
Current country: Poland
Operating system: Windows 11

I have genuine HP 953 cartridges and I can connect the printer via USB if needed.

Could you please help me change the printer region or send me the required regional reset instructions/key by private message?

Thank you.
