Product: HP M402n
Operating System: macOS 10.12 Sierra

I have hundres of MACs that are running OS X 10.10, 10.11, 10.12.  I have multiple printers that I need to install the driver on these macs.  HP M402n and HP M506n printers.  In order to install, I have to plug in the USB cable to the machine then run the HP Easy Start software and it detects the printer and downloads the HP Essential Software version 5.10.5.14.  There is no way to get the driver from Apple's website.  Already contacted them.  The driver doesn't exist anywhere on HP's website where a user can download either.  Has to be through the HP Easy Start software.  This package has to be sitting on some ftp server somewhere.  Anyone as a link?

Hello, i am in the same situation. Can I also have the link to dl the essential software drivers?

Kind of ridiculous hp doesnt provide them publicly in the first place.

I had interest in this as well and sent a PM to the resource willing to share - thanks.

 

And then I found this page, it allows for an admin download of the software, I already have it and will save a lot of grief trying to do the easy setup one system at a time.
