Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

Because we are a big company, I have to provide drivers and software as an installation package for many users. I downloaded the appropriate driver and software package from the HP site:

Printer-PackagePrinter-Package

 

Our IT security department now tells me that the HP package is based on Visual C++ 2010.

And since VC++ 2010 is end of life, there would be a security risk.

 

Specific questions: When can this driver/software package be expected to be updated accordingly and no longer shipped with VC++ 2010?

Or is there an alternative?

From the package we only need the "HP PageWide XL4200 PS series V4" driver and the tool "HP Print Preview"

 

Thank you in advance for any kind of info on this.
