Product: HP Photosmart 7520
Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina

I need drivers for the HP Photosmart 7520 all-in-one printer. I've been on an endless loop with canned HP support, downloading HP Easy Start, which cannot find a driver, which sends me to HP, which eventually goes back to Easy Start. 

 

My Mac is running OS 11 (Big Sur). The drivers have been messing up since Catalina. I am pretty sure I was able to get drivers for my desktop, but can't seem to get them for my laptop. 

 

Where can I download them so I can use the functions of my printer.

 

Any help is much appreciated.

@cmbarton, Welcome to HP Support Community!

 

Download the HP Easy Start from here- https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/HP_Quick_Start/osx/Applications/HP_Easy_Start.app.zip

 

As soon as you open HP Easy Start, click the top HP Easy Start menu and select Uninstall HP Software...
Read any warnings that display, and then click Continue. When prompted, type your administrator user name and password and follow the steps on the screen.
Click Set Up New Device, and then follow the instructions to reinstall your printer with HP Easy Start and check if that may work.

The Easy Start app is NOT a solution. This version of the app, dated 12 November 2020 displays the following message when run.

 

"We were not able to automatically locate any software options for this product. Please go to the HP Website and search for product solutions there."

 

Of course, when I do that, I am sent to the Easy Start app that does not work and displays this message

This is NOT what it says on the HP support site, which claims that HP drivers are no longer available at Apple.
