Microsoft Windows 11

Hi

My printer says it cannot use the ink until I am enrolled and then gets stuck on printing an alighent page. I have tried a soft reset and cleaning the heads of cartridges without success. I also checked that my Smart Ink account is in good standing.

I believe I need do a factory reset of the printer and reconfigure.

Can someone send me these instructions please?

Hi @sdporres,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Here are the steps to factory reset your OfficeJet Pro 9010.

  • Turn on your printer and make sure it is connected to your computer or network.
  • Press the "Settings" button on the printer's control panel.
  • Scroll down and select "Printer Maintenance."
  • Select "Restore" or "Reset" settings.
  • Select "Restore Defaults" or "Factory Defaults."
  • Press "Yes" or "OK" to confirm the reset.
  • Your printer will now be reset to its factory default settings. Note that this process will erase all custom settings and preferences, so you'll need to set them up again after the reset.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
