Need old firmware file for Laserjet printer.

After firmware upgrading my Printer no longer works. It's "bricked" due to non-HP toners. 

After reading on the internet I can see that it helps to downgrade to the older version but you (HP) have hidded this file:

Could you please let me know where I can download it? 

There is no fairness that you suddenly "update" the printer so that it doesn't work anymore..

I am having the same issue. Usually, my automatic firmware upgrade fails but unfortunately this time it worked and bricked my printer (Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281). I have wasted time trying to find the old firmware. There is even a menu option on the printer that allows firmware downgrade, but good luck trying to find out how to do that!

Give it a try. My printer doesn't allow me to make any changes in the  menu to allow downgrade. Can you tell me how did you allow downgrade on your printer? In mine there is no YES or NO options visible and I can't choose anything.

P.S. I found how - when you are in options for firmware updates in the menu and you don't see  YES / NO options, press the red X and you will see them. I write this in case someone else is struggling with the same bug (or is it feature? XD).
