Need older Firmware Pagewide 477dw

Hi!
I tried reflashing the printer using a USB stick with the extracted .ful2 firmware file, but nothing happened.

After that, I spoke with support by phone. According to them, I would need an older firmware version, which they unfortunately no longer have available.

Does anyone happen to still have this older .ful2 firmware file? Thank you!

Can you please elaborate more specific what you mean by "I tried reflashing the printer"

I have in my archive for 477dw version 2012A_05182020.zip if it will be helpful for you send me a private message.

Sharing firmware downgrade links and instructions is not allowed publicly on this forum.

Downgrading the printers firmware is not recommended because if it goes wrong it can disable the printer totally, making it usefulness.

Hi. I followed the instructions given by the HP hotline while on the phone with them. Downloaded the firmware (extracted the ful2 file) from their page. Put it on a Fat32 usb stick. Entered the support menu und selected “Drive Reflash”.

When the printer is in Ready state insert a USB with a ful2 file and wait do not enter any menus. Within the minute the firmware update screen should appear on the printers screen.

If that doesn't work then.

Turn the printer OFF, insert USB with a ful2 file in the printer, turn the printer ON, and wait.

That’s exactly what I did while on the phone with HP. The man on the hotline tried to find an older firmware for me but they did not store those. So that’s when I reached out here
