By accident 1 employee of the company has upgraded the printer to the latest firmware of juli 1 2021, now because of that, it doesn't accept our toners anymore, and the printer does'nt want to print. So i am in desperate need to revert back to the older firmware that doesnt have this restriction anymore.

Mike

Use 7zip to extract .exe file, locate the actual firmware file, it has an extension .full

Save full. file on an empty USB drive, insert a USB on the front USB near the control panel wait for a minute then go to the USB on the front panel and check is there firmware to run.

The firmware downgrade is not recommended you can make your device inoperable.

I have uploaded an older version of firmware from 2020. for testing purposes, if you want to downgrade:

i tried to apply the older firmware but it doesnt let me. i opened the exe file as admin. it ran, and showed me the printer that it is about, but where i need to check the box to select the printer, i cant... and it says not applicable.

thanks in advance.

That worked like a charm.  i did plugged the USB stick in the printer, and when i woke up the printer it asked,  i see a firmware upgrade. do you want to upgrade ?  i pressed yes and the rest went on its own. it rebooted and when it came back it looked as before. I went into "info" to see if it had  the old firmware version back. It had. My printer cartridges were accepted again.

Thanks for the support. Keep on going.

Mike
