    • The installer should detect your printer and complete the installation process.

For macOS:

  4. Connect the Printer:

    • Connect your printer to your Mac using a USB cable (if not connected wirelessly).
    • Power on the printer.

    • The installer should detect your printer and complete the installation process.

For Linux:

  1. Use Package Manager:

    • Many Linux distributions have HP printer drivers available in their package repositories.
    • Open your package manager (e.g., Synaptic, PackageKit) and search for your printer model.
    • Install the appropriate package.
  2. HP's Official Linux Drivers:

    • Alternatively, you can visit HP Linux Imaging and Printing and download the latest HPLIP package.
    • Follow the instructions provided on the website to install the driver.
  3. Connect the Printer:

    • Connect your printer to your computer.
    • Power on the printer.
  4. Complete Installation:

    • The system should detect your printer, or you may need to run a setup tool provided by the driver.

Remember to restart your computer after installing the printer driver to ensure that the changes take effect.

I hope this helps.

At the risk of sounding like a 60 plus year old, would it not behoove customer service providers with the procedure to simply do this:   Downloads - HP LaserJet Pro MFP M130nw  Instead of sending us on a journey through programming.   I really do not have the cognitive whippersnapper gene.   Thanks,  Aunty.
