HP DeskJet 4120e All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello Dear Community,

I have bought a second hand 4120e printer from an auction site. The printer was sold as seen. It works except there's an admin password set for the printer and I cannot get around it. I tried the usual network reset, etc but it just didn't work.

Is there a way to bring the printer back to OOBE level so that I can start setting up the printer from scratch?

I checked the web but couldn't find anything that would hard-reset/factory-reset the printer.

As you have already tried all the troubleshooting steps, this could be a hardware issue with the unit and may need repair.
