Need to re-install my 500 all in one printer

Hi,

The printer does not print in black and I need to add the "Current WI-FI Direct PIN  and it does not show because the black Print Head does not print. 

I read Help and it showed I need to re-install the printer, I did and now I'm stuck with a printer that does not print in black ink and I need a PIN number, can you help me.  Thanks allot.

You can find the PIN for an HP Smart Tank 500 all-in-one series printer on the back of the product, under the battery. You can also try looking for the PIN on the information sheet that printed during setup

Let me know if you have a flex system (WiFi boosters or repeaters) as the setup is much more complicated.

Thanks BeemerBiker,

But I did write that the printer "does not print in Black Ink" and I cannot find a battery in back of the printer.  So sad that the PIN number cannot be written in a visible place for us consumers. 

This printer with non printing Black PrintHead and  the three 3/4 full of colored ink containers, is going to the dump, so sad HP is not proud of its printers any more.
