Hello @Tom9211 ,

 

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

Follow these steps in order to reconnect your HP ENVY Inspire 7900 to Wi-Fi and get printing again.

 

Step 1: Reset the printer’s network settings

 

This clears the old Wi-Fi details.

Turn the printer ON

On the control panel, go to Settings ⚙️

Select Network / Wireless

Tap Restore Network Settings or Reset Network

Confirm

📶 The blue Wi-Fi light should start blinking

 

Step 2: Reconnect the printer to Wi-Fi (recommended way)

 

Install or open the HP Smart app on your computer or phone

Open the app and select + Add Printer or Set up new printer

Choose your Wi-Fi network

Enter your Wi-Fi password

Wait until it shows Connected / Ready

 

Step 3: Test printing

Print a test page from HP Smart

Or print a simple document from Notepad / Notes
