MFP M283fdw

I have managed to foget the password of my MFP M283fdw. Does anyone know how to reset the password please?

Also, i purchased the printer fro  Amazon Last year with a "3 year commercial warranty" but when i check the warranty status on HP.com it says it only got 5 months left. I never had anything from Amazon or HP to say i needed to register the extended warranty (I did register the purchase on HP.com when i purchased it) - confused!!

The only option left is to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer. 

 

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device. 

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer. 

 

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
