I just bought a new HP ENVY INspire printer and it says drivers are not available for Windows 8.1. I'm unwilling to upgrade to Windows 10 as it is a terrible software that has to do all sorts of things for you that I don't want done. Does anyone have a driver for Windows 8.1 for this printer they can send me?

I decided not to buy another printer, and since I definitely did NOT want to upgrade to Windows 10, hired a professional to come repair my HP ENVY Photo 7855. He fixed it by cleaning it thoroughly. He said I should keep this printer because it has no print head, therefore needs little servicing. Have had this printer for at least 4 years, maybe more, without any problem until last month, and hope to keep it running! I've had numerous HP printers, none lasting more than 2or 3 years, this one is the best ever. I hope you make more printers like the ENVY Photo 7855.

I recently bought a HP 7220e printer for my friend and tried to install it on her desktop PC. I was unable to do this because her PC runs Windows 8.1 and HP seem to be saying that it will not provide a printer driver! I can accept that you might not update the driver in future but surely there must be some way of allowing her to be able to use the printer until she is able to purchase a new Windows 11 PC later this year?
