The existing solution for this issue on the site  is not accurate.

There is no "Print" option in the current HP smart app on Android. There are "Print Documents" and "Print Photos" options, however, neither of these provide the options described in the existing solution.

Using Print Photos, no options to free tranafrom the size of the printed image exist. You can choose to fit or fill to the size of the paper, but that's it.

Please advise how this can be done using android.

@MrWooo, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

HP is still rolling out some features for the new HP Smart app. This means that certain options, like freely resizing images for printing, aren't available everywhere or for all printer models yet.

The "Print Photos" option only lets you "Fit" or "Fill" the image to the paper size, but more advanced resizing features aren't in the app just yet.

In the meantime, you could try using other apps, like Adobe Photoshop Express, to resize your photos before printing with the HP Smart app.

We’re working on adding more features, so stay tuned for future updates!

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.

So you're saying you've removed fucntionality from the new app, compared with the previous app that worked where I could use to resize images at point of printing.

Do you have a time frame for when this fundamental capability will be restored?

Hi @MrWooo,

Thank you for your response

Thank you for reaching out. I understand how important the ability to resize images at the point of printing is for your workflow.

Currently, the app is under development, and we're actively working on bringing back this functionality in a future update. While I don't have a specific time frame to share at the moment, I recommend regularly checking for the latest updates, as we are constantly making improvements based on user feedback.

We appreciate your patience, and please feel free to reach out if you have any other questions or concerns.

Take care and have a good day.
