Hello,

I just bought the new HP Deskjet 2630 and wanted to connect it to my old LG PC with Windows Xp via USB as it does not feature wifi nor bluetooth).

I have therefore downloaded the DJ2600 BASICx86_43.3.2478 driver from the hp website but the system does not allow installation- I checked but I cannot find any solution.

Printer works fine and links through other devices. 

Does anybody have suggestions?

Welcome to HP forums, I see that you want assistance in setup up the printer.

  • Are you getting any error message while installing?

Meanwhile:

While installing the driver, connect the USB cable only when it asks for.

 

Reply back with the requested information for more assistance.
