Hello, I bought this new great Laptop Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x with ARM processor. When I wanted to print a few days ago, my old printer HP Officejet 5230AIO worked immediately wireless, but after a day working suddenly it stopped working. So I used the cable connection, which in the beginning worked also. Since yesterday, it is not printing anymore at all. What shall I say, I bought a new HP printer in MediaMarkt Heidelberg which is now a HP Deskjet 4220e - which I was told will work with my new Laptop Lenove Yoga Slim 7x - ARM based processor!

After installing it at home with my iphone mobile, everything works fine. When I added the printer to my new Laptop, I get the error message - print driver not found. Again I cannot print! Has anybody any advice? Is there a HP print driver which is ARM enabled? Which printer is ARM enabled? I can bring my new printer bag to MediaMark as I bought also this 3 years guarantee!

Kind regards

Elisabeth

Both printers should work as the 4200 and 5200 series are listed here.

You can try these drivers but since both printer worked earlier I suspect the drivers are already loaded.

Possibly you are just losing connections:  The printer or printers are on the wrong band 2.4ghz instead of 5 or vice-versa.  They may have gone to sleep when when they woke up they were given different IP addresses then they had before.

If you have both printers online I really recommend you log into the modem / router and assign each printer a fixed IP address.

Many HP and other OEM printers have problems with the router when the router has two bands and both bands have the same name (SSID). Log into the modem and rename one of the bands. Alternately, contact your ISP and have them rename a band.

Or simply use Wi-Fi direct

Wi-Fi Direct can be used to avoid configuring the router. Watch this: 4252

Wi-Fi Direct is explained on page 88 of the User Manual for 52xx, this Wi-Fi setup avoids configuring the router
