HP OfficeJet Pro 9135e All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

After installing Printer, I printed off some docs as a test. Shortly thereafter it would not print via Windows 11. I could print via iPhone or via HP Smart for reports. Troubleshot issues for hours trying this setting or that setting.  Then I reinstalled software from HP. It worked fine. First time I ever had to do that a day after installation. One note not related is setting up this printers paper trays. It is a bit more difficult than previous HP printers I have owned in the past.  Will see how long this lasts.  I once had an Officejet Pro printer last 10 years when XP was around. Not anymore. You are lucky if you get 4 years out of one. This one was a replacement for a 9025e that will not print 4x6 photos. Prints plain paper no issue. Will keep it until ink runs out. Thats it.

Hi @MikeyMJT,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Check Printer Status

  • Verify that the printer is powered on and in a ready state.
  • Ensure the printer is connected to your network (Wi-Fi or Ethernet) or directly to your computer via USB.

Update Printer Drivers

  • Visit the HP Support website and download the latest drivers for your HP OfficeJet Pro 9135e.
  • Install the downloaded drivers and ensure your printer is listed in the Printers & scanners settings.

Default Printer:

  • Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
  • Click on your printer and select Set as default.

Print Queue:

  • Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
  • Select your printer and click Open queue.
  • Cancel any pending or stuck print jobs.

Restart Print Spooler Service

  • Press Win + R, type in services.msc, and press Enter.
  • Find the Print Spooler service, right-click, and select Restart.
  • Try printing a test page from Windows settings:
    • Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
    • Select your printer and click Manage.
    • Click Print a test page.

Reinstall Printer Software

  • Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & features.
  • Find the HP printer software and uninstall it.
  • Visit the HP Support website and download the latest software and drivers.
  • Follow the installation instructions.

I hope this helps.
