HP ENVY Photo 7155 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

I have a brand-new (just opened the box today) Windows 11 laptop that I'm trying to connect to an existing Envy Photo 7155 that I currently had.  Both are connected to the same wireless network, but the HP Smart App isn't finding the printer to set it up.  I did initially try to set it up just in Windows Settings, and it saw it there, but had a note about being unable to find the driver (I don't have that error anymore because the printer isn't showing up in Windows Settings anymore, even though I did nothing to try to remove it).  I had a previous laptop, which could print PDFs from the HP Smart App sometimes, but I could not print from, say, an Office app or from a web page.  I am also able to print from my phone, and my husband is able to print from his laptop just fine through all apps.  But I can't even get the printer -- the WORKING printer -- on my brand-new laptop.  The laptop just doesn't see it at all and I don't know why or how to get the printer installed.  I have also tried restarting both the computer, the printer, and the router.  Help!

I have the same problem, but with a much older HP Printer ( Photosmart C6380). Apparently HP isn't interested in creating a Windows 11 driver for many printers, including mine. I am frustrated and am getting no help from the tech support people except for them trying to sell me a service package!
