Just installed a new Desk Jet 2820e printer that won't print PDF files, can anyone help please.  Not very IT literate

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

 

No worries, let's keep it simple! 😊 

 

First, try opening the PDF in a different program—if you’re using Adobe Acrobat, try printing from Chrome, or edge instead. If that doesn’t work, click "Print", then under Advanced Settings, check the box for "Print as Image" and try again.

 

Also, make sure your printer is set as default by going to Control Panel > Devices and Printers, right-clicking your HP DeskJet, and selecting "Set as Default Printer".

 

If the problem continues, restart both your printer and computer, and let me know what happens! 😊
