Operating System: macOS 11.0 Big Sur

My new hp M283cdw requires download with iOS 13. Unfortunately, I have only an iPhone 6 which runs iOS 12.5.4  . Does anyone know a work-around? What about an earlier version of the hp software?

Hi,

You may use Apple Airprint to print from iOS 12:

For scanning, HP Smart is supported on iOS 13 or later and not on any previous version, but you may  set up and use Scan to Email from the printer EWS page of the printer and scan to an email configured on your iOS device as a workaround:
