My Windows 10 laptop works fine with my M102w printer. My new Windows 11 laptop (HP 17.3 inch) prints a shrunken image (about 25% of proper size). This happens with my word processor and with a web browser printing a PDF. An AI directed me to this site to find the correct driver but I got this support center.

Google Bot suggested I manually install a new printer using the IP address of my M102w and a more or less generic driver from HP. I followed the robot's advice and solved the problem. I still don't understand why a brand new computer would have corrupted printer drivers that don't get corrected with all the regular updates.

Hi @DIY228
This could be related to a printer driver error on Windows, just need to install a new driver.
1. Please install the next driver for your printer:
2. Once installed, restart your computer,
and send your documents to print.

I installed the driver with the executable file. I cycled power on my laptop. I printed a test page. The test page looked fine, but when I printed a PDF, it was the same size as before. Besides that, the computer had to access the cloud before it would print. I don't want my print jobs going to the cloud when the printer is 5 feet from my computer.
