Hi @Fortensicdude,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be glad to help you!
I understand how frustrating it must be to have your replacement HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e stuck on the setup screen, especially when you're eager to start using it.
- Did the printer display this issue immediately after powering it on for the first time?
- Have you already inserted the Instant Ink cartridges, or is the printer stuck before that step?
- Is the printer connected to Wi-Fi, or are you trying to set it up offline?
Let's try these steps.
Unplug the printer from power, wait 2-3 minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on.
Ensure there are no packing materials left inside the printer, especially near the cartridge area.
If possible, turn off the printer, disconnect from Wi-Fi, and restart the setup using HP Smart on a computer or mobile device.
Press and hold the Power button along with the Back and Cancel buttons for about 10 seconds to reset the printer.
If the printer is stuck on "HP Instant Ink," ensure it has a stable Wi-Fi connection so it can verify the subscription status.
Update the firmware. Click here
HP regularly releases new firmware versions for printer enhancements, app updates, or issue fixes. Update the firmware regularly to get the most out of your printer.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance
