I’m trying to connect to new hp envy 6055e printer with my iPad. I get the message that Bluetooth is too weak- move closer. I do, but doesn’t help. Or I get message asking for hp password, which I don’t know. I’m getting nowhere. And the purple scanning light stops and turns contiuous blue.

Thanks for clarifying @Tammy-_gram3b , so that means the printer is connected to the network, but experience any wireless connectivity problem.

Let's print and evaluate a Wireless Network Test Results page:

https://support.hp.com/ph-en/document/c06543173

You would get 3-4 pages printed, evaluate the last report, does it says congratulations below the topic, or may list any specific warning or attention?

Within the last section on the report, notice the listed Network Name (SSID) and IP Address, does the SSID matches the wireless network your iOS device is connected to?

Can you access the IP Address of the printer when typing it into the address bar on Safari?

Click the Yes button to reply that the response was helpful or to say thanks.

Hi,

How is the wireless light on the top of the tray, is it blinking or solid?

When you go to Settings > Wi-Fi, can you see any nearby HP-Setup network in your wireless networks list or not?

Click the Yes button to reply that the response was helpful or to say thanks.
