Hi @Gardening-Girl,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.
If you already have an active HP Instant Ink subscription, you cannot claim the three months free trial with a new printer. The free trial is typically reserved for new subscriptions and is tied to a new Instant Ink account or we can manually add the free trial if the printer comes with a code on the box.
Here's what you can do:
Switch to the New Printer:
If you buy a new printer, you can add it to your current Instant Ink subscription by logging into your HP Instant Ink account and updating the printer details. This ensures that your subscription continues seamlessly.
Start a New Subscription:
If you want to take advantage of the three months free trial, you would need to create a new Instant Ink account with a different email address. However, this would mean your current subscription would no longer apply, and you'd need to cancel it separately.
Please mark this post as “Accepted Solution” if the issue is resolved and if you feel this reply was helpful click “Yes”.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a great day ahead!
